I would highly recommend this hotel. Brilliant location, walking distance to many sights and also a nearby metro station. Lovely patisseries on the street and a fantastic view of the eiffel tower. Staff were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed. Only suggestion would be a little better lighting as the lights were quite dim. But overall, a wonderful little hotel!

The pros : nice location in a street with shops and restaurants, not too far from Eiffel Tower and from the river. Nice staff at reception. Relatively comfortable rooms and quiet (our room was at the back) The cons : not pleasant nor convenient entrance, straight from the street into stairs (better avoid heavy luggage). Can also feel insecure due to the need for someone to buzz you in. There are more stairs to access the rooms. Room maintenance could be improved (water in the toilet was running non stop, we reported it but it wasn’t fixed)

Was recommended to try this little Hotel in Paris, I wanted to stay in a small hotel in Central Paris, in an authentic neighbourhood. Hotel Thoumieux was perfect for us, it ticked all the boxes, Jennifer, who I’d been in contact with could not have been more helpful, the room was charming, not twee, spacious bathroom, we will be returning and will tell our friends about it, a real find.

Fantastic location and even better staff. Whilst this was not the typical hotel which we stay at, usually opting for brand names, I am so glad we did. Starting for our arrival the welcome and attention to detail was perfect. Our room was on the second floor qnd facing the courtyard which was perfect, given we sleep early with out toddler. The hotel make fresh biscuits daily and I was sure to sample them all. Whilst breakfast was not included, we ate there the three days and was very nice way to start the day. Really appreciate all the staff being so nice to our toddler. Also the location here iwqs perfect and is in walking distance to the Effie tower, hop on/off bus stop and various metro lines. Will return next time I am in France.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in early April. The location of the hotel in proximity to everything is excellent - lots of restaurants, bakeries and bars within walking distance. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night we arrived and it was also good. The room we stayed in had an inner courtyard view and was on the 2nd floor above the lobby. The stairs were pretty narrow to get up and down with our bags - but you are in Paris, after all! The room and hotel itself was beautiful - the branding was thoughtfully woven throughout the entire experience (even the door handles). Our room had nice big bathroom with a nice shower and soaps etc. A mini fridge and bathrobes allowed us to enjoy our time spent in the room (which wasn’t a lot). The only real negative is just that the ceilings were quite low so it felt a little claustrophobic at times, and for the cost of the room it would have been nice if breakfast had been included (more amenities). But with all the bakeries nearby, it wasn’t an issue! The price was on par with other hotels for its excellent location. We would definitely return and stay again at the Hotel Thoumieux!
